Welcome to Senior Games, a small but passionate indie board game publisher based in the heart of Shropshire, England. Founded during the challenging times of the COVID-19 lockdown, we started out as a team of two with a big dream – bringing immersive, engaging board games to life.
Our debut game, Heroes of the Shire, was born from countless hours of dedication and creativity. We wanted to create a game that would bring people together, offering epic adventures and unforgettable battles in a vibrant fantasy world. Despite being a small team, our love for game design and engaging combat mechanics continues to drive us to push boundaries and create new experiences for the tabletop gaming community.

Meet Our Creative Team
Damian Senior
CEO & Lead Game Designer
Damian began his career in 2008 with a university degree in Computer Animation, blending technical expertise with creative vision. Before founding Senior Games, he taught yoga and acrobatics, sharing his passion for movement and wellness. However, during lockdown, Damian returned to his creative roots and ventured into game design. Now, as the CEO of Senior Games, he leads the company full-time, designing immersive board games like Heroes of the Shire.
Chloe Roberts
Game Design & Creative Development
Chloe is an integral part of Senior Games, overseeing game design and contributing fresh ideas. A full-time piano teacher and music composer, she holds a university degree in music and spends her days teaching adults and children. Despite her busy teaching career, Chloe finds time to lend her creativity to Senior Games. A dedicated cat lover and an expert in keeping things organized, she brings her talents for composition, design, and attention to detail into every project she touches.

Illustration & Concept Art
From Indonesia, illustrator and concept artist Edwin brings a unique blend of anime and Studio Ghibli-inspired artistry to the Heroes of the Shire universe. His vibrant, detailed illustrations capture the magic and depth of the game’s world, creating unforgettable characters and landscapes. With a style that combines whimsical charm and epic storytelling, Edwin adds a distinctive visual flair that enhances the player’s immersive experience.
Christian Goodman
Events & Exhibitions Coordinator
Christian and Damian met while studying Computer Animation at university. Now, Christian plays a vital role at Senior Games, helping to organise and manage events and exhibitions. His keen eye for detail and organisational skills ensure that every event runs smoothly, showcasing the best of what Senior Games has to offer. With a background in animation and photography with a flair for coordination, Christian is a valuable part of the team, bringing energy and expertise to every event.
